New Rules Regarding Publication of Scientific/Health Research Papers on PubMed

I heard an interesting piece on NPR the other day, stating that any researcher who wants to publish on PubMed (the government run National Institutes of Health database) must agree to make the full-text freely available within one year of publication. This means that reliable information on current research in medicine and other sciences will be freely available to us online.
