The Avalon Free Public Library is happy to present Freading for patron use. Freading is an eBook service featuring over 20,000 titles for checkout with no waiting and no maximum checkout! You receive 10 tokens each week  to spend on any title you choose. Titles range from 1 to 4 tokens each and you never have to wait for a book as each title is always available. All you need to begin is to login to the library’s Freading site with your valid Avalon Free Public Library card.

Apps are available for iOS and Android, just search “Freading” in your app store. There is currently no app for Kindle Fire but you can use the Overdrive app to read Freading EPUB format books on your Kindle Fire.
