“Brought to life through Kreutzerโs skillful direction and Kriepsโ earnest performance, this surprising royal reimagining offers a fresh perspective on an elusive historical figure.” – Kathy Michelle Chacon,ย Paste

“Having slyly slipped the bonds of the past, Corsage eventually allows its heroine to make a very modern break for it in the filmโs (wholly fictional) final act. “Although the blandly nondescript title doesnโt exactly suggest the promise of deep intrigue, Philipp Stรถlzlโs Chess Story masterfully confounds expectations as a tautly calibrated, intricately constructed Chinese puzzle of a period drama set during Nazi Germanyโs annexation of Austria.” – Michael Rechtshaffen, Los Angeles Times
