Hot Tracks: 11/15/24

Happy Friday! It’s time for more new music! Here’s this week’s selection of new (or new to me) songs that I felt really stood out!

Note: Some songs and videos may contain content that listeners / viewers could find objectionable.

Tate McRae’s latest features just the right amount of weird in its production to stand out in a crowded pop market.

Lil Nas X amps up the club influences on his latest single.

Stray Kids continue to be one of the more interesting acts in K-pop.

FEVER 333 contribute this edgy and interesting industrial rock tune to the soundtrack toย Arcane season 2.

Irresistible emo pop-punk by Huddy with Palaye Royale.

Woodkid, one of my personal favorite acts, also adds a tune to theย Arcane soundtrack, and it’s one of his recent best.

Kissimjau adds their own unique flavor to the pop / drum & bass sound.

Jessie Ware guests on the latest house jam by salute.

Duke Dumont with guest Panama have a dance anthem on their hands.

Did we really need a club version of The Temptations’ “My Girl”? Probably not, but it works surprisingly well.

Dumb enough that I feel like I shouldn’t like it. But I do. Maybe we all need a little stupid fun in our lives sometimes.

I’m loving the recent rise of punk-influenced techno.

Alan Walker continues to churn out catchy, melodic electronic music.

Absolutely lovely chill house.

K-pop takes on UK 2-step and it’s perfection.

That bass.

Delightfully weird alt-pop.

LUCKY LOVE leans into their retro-influences in this catchy break-up anthem.

Zach Hood and Sasha Alex Sloan continue the country / pop hot streak of 2024.

James Blake is in classic form on this haunting tune.

Perfectly calibrated for martini sipping.
