How Far Trump Would Go

from Time

One of the many things former president and presumptive Republican nominee for the office this year Donald Trump loves is appearing on the cover of Time magazine, and so it is no surprise that he agreed to sit down for this interview with reporter Eric Cortellessa. The result may be one of the most thorough examinations of the intentions both he and his closest advisors have should he win November’s election. One example: “Allies are laying the groundwork to restructure the presidency in line with a doctrine called the unitary executive theory, which holds that many of the constraints imposed on the White House by legislators and the courts should be swept away in favor of a more powerful Commander in Chief.”
