Starting today, the Avalon Free Public Library is launching online registration for all programs that require sign up. This should make it easier and more convenient for patrons to enroll in classes and presentations that interest them without having to call or visit the library to get on the list, though they are still welcome to do so if they wish!
When a patron sees that a program on our calendar that they are interested in requires registration, they can simply click on the link in the description labeled “CLICK HERE TO REGISTER ONLINE”.

From there they will fill out their information, including their name, address, email, and phone number, the latter of two being used to contact them in the event that the program needs to be cancelled or rescheduled and to verify their attendance as the date nears.

Patrons can only register one name at a time, so those wishing to enroll their friends or family members will need to fill out a separate registration form for each. If the program is full, they will be presented with the option to be added to the waitlist. Either way, after filling out the form successfully they will receive a confirmation email with a date reminder.
While we strive to keep the number of programs that require registration to a minimum, we hope this new system makes it more convenient to sign up for those that do! Feel free to stop by the library or call us at 609-967-7155 with any questions or concerns!

Awesome! As ever, AFPL raises “the bar” yet again. A 10-star library!
Thank you!
