And we’re off! The nominees for this year’s Academy Awards have been announced, which means we now know what movies we need to watch before the ceremony on March 10. If you’ve been keeping with things it should be easier than usual to catch up by then, as several of the nominated films were pretty big hits, either in theaters or on streaming (I mean, who hasn’t seen Barbie or Oppenheimer by now?), but for all the movies you haven’t gotten to yet we’re here to help with our annual guide to locating them!
Below is our list of all of this year’s Oscar nominees, including the shorts, along with links to where you can watch them (or in the case of the music where you can hear it), prioritizing access through the library when available, followed by subscription or free streaming, followed by online rental services. We will be keeping this list updated regularly so make sure to check back for the latest info on any movies that aren’t yet available to watch at home.
NOTE: Release dates are subject to change. Some of the movies are not yet out on DVD or Blu-ray, but will be coming soon, so we have provided the link to our catalog for these titles so that you can get yourself on the hold list in advance.
LAST UPDATED: 4/3/24
Winners are marked with a green star.
This list has been compiled for users in the United States, but we will add links to lists for other countries here as they are provided to us:
