Jazz Duo Brian Betz & Behn Gillece in Concert

The jazz duo of Betz and Gillece will join us at the Library this Saturday, 9/12 at 1pm. Swing by for an afternoon of smooth jazz played on a variety of instruments by these talented musicians. The program will feature a mix of both American standards and original compositions, plus a Q&A with the musicians will follow the performance. Whether you’re new to jazz and a longtime fan you’ll want to check this out! – Sean Farrell

Minions & Monsters

No one was as surprised as me by how much I loved this movie. Using the quirkily adorable Minions to pay homage to classic Hollywood winds up working on every level imaginable, marking it as both one of the funniest and overall best movies of the year. Two Point Museum

It’s somewhat surprising that there aren’t more management sims that put you in charge of a museum, as it seems like pretty fertile territory with lots of room for imagination. The Two Point sim series is a perfect fit for the idea however, blending enough strategic depth, quirky ideas, and cozy gameplay to keep a broad swath of players entertained. A pretty perfect fit for a chilly Autumn afternoon with a hot beverage. – SF

Froggy Hates Snow

In this game you play as a frog or one of his amphibian friends to dig for treasures in the snowbanks, unlock abilities, and find the exit door to survive the winter day.  You can play on peaceful mode or survival mode with monsters for two unique game experiences.   This one is quick to learn and has good replayability with the different modes and character’s special abilities. – Kara Buono
