The Oscars are an imperfect gauge of any given year’s best films, but they still serve as a great way to discover movies you might otherwise overlook. You won’t necessarily love all of them, but more often than not you’ll find something worthwhile in the experience. That said, this past year was a strong one for cinema, with some truly remarkable movies being produced, and perhaps even more remarkably, many of them actually wound up being honored with nominations (which is not always a guarantee).
With so many nominees it can be hard to keep up however, and so we’ve once again assembled a guide to where you can watch all of this year’s nominated films, including the shorts, and where you can listen to the nominated scores and songs, whether that is through us or not. We don’t earn any revenue from this and there are no affiliate links, we’re just happy to help connect you with some great works of art. This list will be updated often as the big day draws near on March 15 and we will update it with the winners the following day (marked with green stars), so make sure to bookmark this page and check back often. Until then, happy watching, and feel free to discuss your favorites in the comments!
