The Avalon Arts & Seafood Festival will take place tomorrow, October 12 from 10am to 5pm in Surfside Park. This annual event is a favorite among residents and visitors alike and features plenty to see, hear, taste and do!
Fresh, local seafood will be available from area restaurants, a beer & wine cart will be available for those looking to imbibe, a variety of artisan vendors will be on hand selling unique items, musicians will be performing live on stage, and games and activities are planned for the kids. Anyone who is afraid they might miss this weekend’s NFL action needn’t worry, as the games will be streaming live in the Sound Advice Lounge. Plus, hayrides will be running on the beach between 10am and 2pm from the 29th Street Parking Lot.
The music lineup will see Lolly Hopwood take the stage at 10:30am, followed by Michael Thompson at 11:30am, and Hickstown Road at 2pm. In the event of rain, the event will move to Sunday, but as of right now the forecast looks pretty great, so come on out for a special day of family friendly fun and fill yourself up with some delicious fish!
